Luxury Mint Hill Kitchen with La Cornue CornuFe French Range
Project Overview
When we first talked to the homeowners about this kitchen, they shared how poorly the current kitchen reflected their lifestyle and didn't provide the feeling of rest when entering this space. Our design team brilliantly transformed this home’s kitchen, pantry, and mudroom into a bright, open, and highly functional space.
The kitchen now features custom antique white and marina-colored inset cabinetry extending to the ceiling, creating a seamless and elevated look. A stunning baby blue and gold La Cornue CornuFe French range serves as the focal point with its' custom hood, adding timeless elegance. With this layout, it also includes a spacious island with a prep sink and an elevated section, perfect for the homeowners’ children.
Thoughtfully crafted cabinetry in the pantry and mudroom enhances both organization and style, ensuring every detail reflects the homeowners’ unique taste. This remodel was a rewarding and fun challenge, blending custom design elements with functionality to create a space that feels both luxurious and inviting.

Challenges & Solutions
Challenge:
Turning a Coat Closet into a Built-In Dog Crate
The homeowners wanted to repurpose their large coat closet into a dog crate but didn’t want it to look out of place or like an afterthought.Solution:
We came up with the idea of cutting the closet door in half to create a Dutch door. This way, they could close the bottom half to keep their dog secure while leaving the top open so he could still see out. It ended up blending perfectly with the rest of the space while staying practical.
Challenge:
Creating Sleek, Ceiling-Mounted Shelves Without Bulky Supports
The homeowner wanted floating ceiling-mounted shelves with a clean look, but standard installation methods would have left visible fasteners or required heavy brackets.Solution:
To keep everything seamless, we prepped in advance by installing hidden support lumber before putting up the drywall. This gave us solid anchor points, making the shelves look like they were effortlessly floating while still being sturdy and functional.
