    Heather

Sherwood Forest Kitchen Remodel with Rose Gold Fixtures
  • “It’s exciting to see it all put together, especially when we’re in the midst of a construction zone! All looks great; everything seems to work well together.”

    Mackenzie

Myers Park Kitchen Remodel with Arched Pass-Thru
  • “We knew that with a project this big, selecting a good contractor was important. But looking back, we think about all the ways that selecting a contractor who did *not* put the customer first, or who did *not* communicate well, or who cut corners, or who wasn’t straightforward, etc. could have led to a nightmare of a project. Instead, every time we walk into our new kitchen, not only are we thrilled with the result, but we have nothing but fond memories about the process and about our good friends at DGK. We are in love with our new kitchen! And everyone on the DGK Team was such a pleasure to work with.”

Mountain Island Lake Kitchen Remodel with Blue Mosaic Tile
  • “I’m excited to have breakfast together with our growing family on this island!”

Our Why

At the heart of DGK Design and Build is our founder, Dmitriy Kishko, who anchors our expanding family owned and operated business. Dmitriy’s journey in craftsmanship began over 30 years ago when he arrived in the U.S. as an ambitious young immigrant with a passion for craftsmanship. He started his career as a millwork specialist, handling measurements as precise as 1/1000th of an inch. His dedication and expertise quickly led him to oversee all millwork and lathe operations at his workplace. Dmitriy’s skilled craftsmanship is fundamental to his success, but even more significant is his exceptional commitment to service

Driven by a steadfast commitment to the golden rule—treat others as you would like to be treated—Dmitriy’s craftsmanship and integrity laid the foundation for his own business. For 25 consecutive years, he has always maintained an ongoing contract.

As a devoted Christian, husband, and father of eight, with six children actively involved in the business, Dmitriy has realized his dream of growing a family-oriented business. The culture of our team is characterized by a genuine connection with our clients, as we create custom spaces that bring joy to families.

Our Mission: To deliver a seamless and personalized experience to every client.

Our Why: We are driven by the profound fulfillment that comes from transforming spaces and the deep gratitude we feel for the trust our clients place in us as we turn their houses into homes.
