Having had the opportunity to work with DGK turned out to be the best decision my daughter and I could have ever made. This company is just amazing. From start to finish they could not have been more professional, knowledgeable, helpful and overall the most kind and caring people, every one of them. They were here every day on time and did superb work. I just can’t say enough about how wonderful they are and they will be doing more work for us again soon as we keep adding things! It was a sad day when their sign came down as they have become like family to us. Their workmanship is total perfection and they completed the job on time and everything was perfect.

We loved working with the team. This family run company goes the extra step to treat their clients like family too. They listened to our design ideas and made improvements to make our sunroom better than we could have imagined. They spend time on the initial design and plan which we found helpful so we knew what to expect. Once they started physically working on the space, it was enjoyable to watch yet be completely hands off. They are detail oriented and even noticed minor imperfections which they pointed out themselves and then fixed. The entire project felt seamless and we can’t wait to work with them again

I cannot say enough good things about our experience with DGK for our complete kitchen remodel here in Charlotte. From initial design through final completion, their turn-key approach exceeded every expectation. DGK listened closely, refined our vision, and delivered a design that was even better than what we could have imagined. DGK’s turn-key approach made the process enjoyable, stress-free, and an investment that was worth every penny.

The vision for our space and suggestions during the design process made this a very enjoyable partnership. During construction, everyone was professional and helpful and did a great job keeping the construction area clean. They finished ahead of schedule, which was a plus! The finished product exceeded our expectations!

DGK did several projects around our house, including adding a new bathroom and remodeling two existing bathrooms. We loved that this was a family-owned business, that they brought samples to our home to review, cutting out having to take more time out of our day with two full time jobs and two kids, and that we were kept up-to-date on the timeline and project updates. DGK stays on schedule and on budget, plus delivers a beautiful product.

I can't recommend DGK Design and Build highly enough! From the very first introductory phone call to the last day of work when they handed our keys back, every step of the process was clearly outlined. Every team member was gracious, courteous, and genuinely listened to our questions and concerns (and addressed them!). We lived in our house during our renovation and the team made it as easy as possible for us and minimized disruptions wherever possible. We are absolutely thrilled with the space and look forward to many years of making memories with our family.

We recently had the pleasure of working with DGK for an addition to our home. From start to finish, their team was exceptionally communicative, ensuring we were always informed about the progress and any decisions that needed to be made. What truly impressed us was their commitment to staying on budget; there were no surprise costs, which made the entire process stress-free. They also completed the project within the agreed-upon timeline, demonstrating their professionalism and reliability. Throughout the construction, the team maintained a clean worksite, which was a huge relief. They were respectful of our home and our neighbors, which made the whole experience pleasant. One neighbor even said “they’re here everyday…that’s very rare for a construction project!

From the very beginning, the process felt like something out of an HGTV episode, starting with an in-depth consultation, followed by detailed 3D renderings, transparent budget discussions, and expert guidance in selecting finishes. Jacob, our project manager, was consistently responsive and attentive. He made communication easy and stress-free, and was always willing to go the extra mile to ensure we were happy at every stage. One of the most impressive aspects of this company is their ongoing commitment to their clients. Even two years after our initial renovation, they’ve remained in contact and have continued to help with small issues as they arise, a level of aftercare that’s increasingly rare.

We didn’t realize how much we were missing until now: having this beautiful, open shower where the old tub used to be has completely transformed how we experience the space. We have received several compliments on our master bath, which really is a work of art.

When we set out to renovate our kitchen, the plan was as chaotic as our lifestyle. We sat with 5 or 6 different renovation/restoration teams before making our decision. DGK was a front runner from day 1. They showed up interested, and clearly passionate about their craft. Before we concluded the initial consultation they had already become engaged with our ideas and seemed eager to create something of our space. Not just eager to earn, but actually excited about what could be done here. We liked them. A lot!! The hard part for us was the price tag. Some say you get what you pay for. I say , when a price has a purpose, it becomes more meaningful to pay. I gotta say, these folks do what they do for a purpose. They stayed on or ahead of schedule every step of the way. Every time we hit a snag, whether it was creative or structural, they swiftly found a set of options to redirect the outcome. The value is unquestionable. Most impressively... since the day our project concluded nearly 2 years ago there have been easily 5 occasions where something was either damaged or altered in the new space... mostly due to our toddler... DGK has sent someone to check it every time! I often thought they were coming by to make suggestions for repairs... NOPE! They have each time, taken the initiative, to remedy each anomaly. To me that is some pretty kickass customer care. DGK is hella-legit. We are definitely fans.

We highly recommend DGK! They were our top choice when considering contractors for our kitchen renovation because of their all-in-one approach from design to build. Their team spent time learning our preferences and made the design process SO EASY for us! The build process went very smoothly due to the team's professionalism and effective communication. We were given access to a live calendar detailing the construction schedule for the entire project so our family was kept up to date on each day's/week's work. Best of all, they created a kitchen more beautiful than we could have imagined ourselves and met all of our family's needs. We look forward to working with them again for our next home project!

DGK completed our full kitchen remodel, with some updates to our downstairs area. We could not be happier or more satisfied with the results and the process throughout the entire project. Lilliana completely understood our vision and with her team really pulled together our dream design. The PM, Jacob, was wonderful as well to work will as him and his team provided clear updates and stayed on schedule and budget with us. Nothing was ever hidden or miscommunicated. Workers were always here progressing the project!! We truly cannot wait to work with DGK again in our future and would highly recommend them to anybody looking for a remodel!
